USSSA STL Pride 14u is looking to fill it last couple remaining spots. The team is coached by Terry McQueen and Chelsea Thornley. Combined with Chelsea they bring 10 years of competitive coaching. Chelsea Thornley former D3 softball pitcher and A level coach. Chelsea Thornley in 2018 graduated from Webster University in St. Louis, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance and participated in 4 years of softball. Webster is the home of the Gorloks and is a member of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) and NCAA Division 3 softball. At Webster, she played a variety of positions, but was primarily a pitcher. Through her time at Webster she was the SLIAC Pitcher of the Week three times, Strength and Conditioning All-American, SLIAC All-Academic Team, NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete, and the career saves leader. Prior to Webster, she attend Clinton High School in Clinton, MO where she was an All-Region, All-District, and All-Conference Pitcher.
After graduating from college, I became an assistant coach for the 14U Diamond Club organization based in the Kansas City area. I was a versatile coach and helped work with the infielders and outfielders on plays and also challenged the athletes by running the bases to simulate game activity. I also spent time working with the pitchers and emphasizing the little things and helping strengthen their mental game.
Our softball organization is looking for Pitchers, Catchers and Utility Players for our next season of softball! As we continue to grow in 2020/2021 the Organization and Coaches work hard to put the ladies first through improved development and focus on solid competition. The Pride teams have dedicated winter indoor and spring outdoor practice schedules. We will play league and play an aggressive tournament schedule!. Our commitment prepares the ladies for the next level of softball where we placed 7 players over the past 2 years
