The St. Louis Naturals 08 Overbey is looking forward to the 2020-21 season. Our team has been established for 4 years and has consistently retained the majority of our roster each year. Our team is focused on player and character development and we will expect each team member to be dedicated to softball and work very hard to get better as both softball players and teammates. To facilitate this softball growth, we will practice 2 times per week throughout the year (Outdoor at Fenton City Park, Indoor at the Naturals Academy at 109 Green Park Industrial Court), play fall league at Kirkwood, one indoor tournament over the winter, spring league, and 10-12 tournaments next Spring. Most tournaments are within a 2 hour drive of St. Louis but we will plan to play 1-2 travel tournaments – this year we have been fortunate to play every weekend between May 10 and August 1 (except for one rain weekend).
We will be hosting tryouts next week to fill a few open spots on our roster. Primarily looking for a catcher, middle infielder, or outfielders but will consider all positions with the right work ethic and a 2008 birth year (2008 birth year very important for team continuity). When: Tuesday July 21st and Wednesday July 22nd, Registration begins at 6pm, tryout starts at 6:30pm. Social Distancing practices will be followed.
