14U Diamond Stars are still looking for 1-2 players for the 2020 summer season. Our team will compete in at least 7 tournaments with 1 of those being out of town (probably: Osage Beach) and we do a large fundraiser so the cost is very minimal to all players. The desired main position is Catcher, ideally the player would have multiple years at this position and have played on high end AA teams. We develop our catchers with the skill to excel at the high school level- with experience such as calling their own games and calling 1st/3rd Defenses to name a couple. Additionally your son would be joining a team that its core group of players have been together for 6 yrs providing him with the teammates and camaraderie rarely seen in Select baseball. Over the years these players have been taught respect for the game, umpires, military and the baseball uniform they wear. As far as on the field performance we play at Arnold Athletic Association in their highest Division (GOLD) -we see great competition night in and night out. We finished 3rd in that division last year and qualified in a couple AAA tournaments, so looking for a couple of players who want to challenge themselves to help our team make the jump.
