About Kirkwood Athletic Association

Kirkwood Athletic Association is a private non for profit organization that has been serving children in Kirkwood and surrounding communities since 1960. The organization is not associated with nor receives any funding from the City of Kirkwood or any other public or government entity. The organization consists of both Boy’s Youth Baseball and Girl’s Youth Softball played during the summer months of April through July. Tournaments & Clinics are offered at selected times during the baseball season. In addition, an extended playing season is offered during the months of September & October.

The Kirkwood Athletic Organization is composed of a board of directors that equally represents the interest of both Baseball and Softball. The people who comprise this board are parents, managers & members of the community that have participated in some capacity in the association. We are constantly seeking quality individuals who are willing to make a contribution to the association.

The principle goal of the organization is to provide your child with an opportunity to participate in a team sport and develop both athletic and social skills that they will be able to use throughout the rest of their lives. Every year a great deal of time is spent by the board members and the staff to ensure that a competitive balance exist for all of the teams that participate in the association. Your involvement in the organization is a key in ensuring that your child is provided with the best opportunity to succeed.
